In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Adab FC's goalkeeper Abdessalem Abdessalam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isaac Derwin struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Rolf Ruff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adab FC. Angel Fonso hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abd al-Asis Lacen in the 15th minute of play forced Estudiantes de la Plata's goalkeeper Rolf Ruff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Isaac Derwin made a precise shot to the right of Rolf Ruff. Estudiantes de la Plata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a little luck, Adab FC's Abdessalem Abdessalam got control of the ball when Severiano Cefero tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Estudiantes de la Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Weterio to maneuver through the defense. Robustiano Diaz hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Rolf Ruff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Derwin in the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Severiano Cefero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes de la Plata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Cefero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de la Plata's Severiano Cefero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdessalem Abdessalam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 52 played minutes Estudiantes de la Plata got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Norino. The supporters of Adab FC booed when Estudiantes de la Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Norino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adab FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After having played for 67 minutes, Severiano Cefero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes de la Plata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Cefero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes de la Plata's zone, Abd al-Asis Lacen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolf Ruff came out of the goal and Abd al-Asis Lacen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdessalem Abdessalam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio in the 75th minute of the match. Adab FC's Abdessalem Abdessalam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Diaz in the 78th minute of play. With a little luck, Estudiantes de la Plata's Rolf Ruff got control of the ball when Abd al-Asis Lacen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Estudiantes de la Plata's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Abd al-Asis Lacen scored to the left of an out of position Rolf Ruff, making the score, 1-3. When Ysidro Mallen fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estudiantes de la Plata's protests and gave Ysidro Mallen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Adab FC booed when Estudiantes de la Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ysidro Mallen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolf Ruff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abd al-Asis Lacen in the 85th minute. Isaac Derwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Ruff having to interfere. Abdessalem Abdessalam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Cefero, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Isaac Derwin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolf Ruff. That made the score 1-4 in the 91 minute of play. The Estudiantes de la Plata supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Adab FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Adab FC.
