In the 17th match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lučano Lapotne to maneuver through the defense. Independiente's Bartolo Idacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristoforo Lepori in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Suy in the 26th minute of play forced Old BaoBaB Accademy's goalkeeper Fabiano Violento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Maikel Jol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano Violento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xu Wei Kun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Independiente were awarded a corner. Maikel Jol went to the cornerflag to take it. Martin Suy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Fabiano Violento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristoforo Lepori kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Eriberto Truylos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Maikel Jol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emiliano Giusto to strike the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabiano Violento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Martin Suy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Old BaoBaB Accademy's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Tanio came free, but Fabiano Violento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Old BaoBaB Accademy's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Truylos came free, but Fabiano Violento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
