In the 20th minute of the match, Hannes Ahlquist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aloísio Abreu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Team Xtra personell booed when Matadores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on Matadores FC's corner Dário Gerber fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Frans Snell quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Nilton Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matadores FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilton Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frans Snell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th match minute, Team Xtra personell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannes Ahlquist to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Dário Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frans Snell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Team Xtra personell booed when Matadores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erivaldo Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matadores FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
