He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aveiro FC reached it. Gaspar Linhares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florinio Martínez having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Linhares in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florinio Martínez saved Racing Rocafort C.F. from getting behind. Tiago Ventura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florinio Martínez having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Silvano Simões had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florinio Martínez. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvano Simões was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After having played for 32 minutes, Gaspar Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aveiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Linhares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Fernando Rijo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Vicente Quintanilha made a precise shot to the right of Florinio Martínez. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After 45 played minutes Racing Rocafort C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Dobale. Amado Macena hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s Florinio Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Linhares in the 79th minute of play. Florinio Martínez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gaspar Linhares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 96 minute of play. Aveiro FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
