After 13 minutes of play, Sabadim Harammes PRD's Eder Lopes made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Loren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silverio Barrionuevo struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Mauro Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Volvio Moreno. Mauro Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Barrionuevo in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes Sabadim Harammes PRD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Haroldo Presebal who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sabadim Harammes PRD's goalie and right to Raúl Noriega. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sabadim Harammes PRD's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabirel Garantos in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, Volvio Moreno's goalkeeper Manuel Loren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eder Lopes. In the 42nd minute Mariano Bladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Bladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 45 minutes, Zacarias Cambranes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Volvio Moreno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarias Cambranes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eder Lopes's late challenge caught a Volvio Moreno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eder Lopes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sabadim Harammes PRD's Eder Lopes got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Eder Lopes made the kick off in the second half. Raúl Noriega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 54th minute Mariano Bladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute of the match Sabadim Harammes PRD got a corner. Volvio Moreno's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abel Castelo Branco ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sabadim Harammes PRD's Mauro Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Barrionuevo in the 59th minute of play. Mauro Cunha made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Raúl Noriega sent off a good shot on target. The Volvio Moreno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Loren should have stopped the shot. Sabadim Harammes PRD's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
