The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Daniel Bazán looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Bazán couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Sedat Akarslan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomero Oriche went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ahmet Sedat Akarslan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Evangelista, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ahmet Sedat Akarslan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Bazán went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Ulises Evangelista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Kroos came free, but Ahmet Sedat Akarslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan defense, Daniel Bazán kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Sedat Akarslan. The Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Sedat Akarslan should have stopped the shot. Ulises Evangelista took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Sedat Akarslan. Ahmet Sedat Akarslan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Ahmet Sedat Akarslan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Bazán went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. With his leg Ubaldo Teofilio managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Bortzaioriz Ferreras fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan defense, Baldomero Oriche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Sedat Akarslan. The Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Sedat Akarslan should have stopped the shot. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA made a substitution. Daniel Confesor replaced Hugo Ariel. Disappointed in the 0-9 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wincenty Juroszek was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Ahmet Sedat Akarslan threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ulises Evangelista, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ahmet Sedat Akarslan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ximenes Montemayor, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Ulises Evangelista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Sedat Akarslan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Evangelista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Daniel Bazán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Sedat Akarslan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Baldomero Oriche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Sedat Akarslan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. If Ximenes Montemayor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Sedat Akarslan was a little too slow when Daniel Bazán got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-11. 88 minutes into the game, Bela Estremiana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Baldomero Oriche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Wincenty Juroszek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 96 minutes, Daniel Bazán managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Bazán was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
