Boroondara Milan were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after AB Tårnby's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ned Mills took the corner. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Reinar Wormstrup put in a rough tackle. 30 minutes into the game, Boroondara Milan's Ned Mills nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlisle Fenwick made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Arty Shearn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ian Axelfeldt fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AB Tårnby's protests and gave Ian Axelfeldt a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes AB Tårnby got a freekick which was hit by Ian Axelfeldt. Martyon Diehl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Tiede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Andres Stevens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenn Fronval. AB Tårnby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andres Stevens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to Boroondara Milan getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Zackery Tresise hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Boroondara Milan's Zackery Tresise got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Jason Sperling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boroondara Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Jason Sperling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenn Fronval breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gustaf Tiede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AB Tårnby made a substitution. Egil Kluglein replaced Iliyan Glogov. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlisle Fenwick got free with Kenn Fronval in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlisle Fenwick who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Kenn Fronval when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, AB Tårnby's goal looked a bit too open when Rusty Reynolds came free, but Kenn Fronval reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
