That made the score 1-0 in the 2 minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Tino Abeijon came free, but Martyon Diehl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tino Abeijon in the 7th minute of play forced Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Martyon Diehl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Tino Abeijon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martyon Diehl was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Martyon Diehl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francis Stuart, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Sportivo Chupeño's Francis Stuart nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martyon Diehl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Chupeño's Rito Abel got a free kick in the 31st minute. 38 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Palmiro Noronha came free, but Martyon Diehl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chinto Espinoza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlisle Fenwick in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Paco Everett cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Chinto Espinoza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boroondara Milan's Martyon Diehl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francis Stuart in the 68th minute of play. In the 68th minute Francis Stuart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martyon Diehl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Gonzo Abastas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Chupeño fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. After a rather tough play, Boroondara Milan's Drake Sobczak got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Sportivo Chupeño booed when Boroondara Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Reisz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Boroondara Milan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sportivo Chupeño were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
