In the 8th minute, Fernando Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Independente FC's Gwidon Juchno threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Fernando de Toledo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Florão da América's Gwidon Juchno got control of the ball when Fernando Lucas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Independente FC's Edgard Bertassi got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Mohamed Mané sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Gröhe skillfully saved the ball. Nilson Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Gwidon Juchno made a huge save. Fernando Lucas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Gwidon Juchno made a huge save. If Zé Carlos de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Lucas in the 27th minute of play forced Florão da América's goalkeeper Gwidon Juchno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florão da América's Gwidon Juchno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Florão da América from getting a goal against them. Gwidon Juchno was a little too slow when Nilson Duarte got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Florão da América's Dragolyub Chavdarov managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by You Yuan in the 35 minute of the game. In the 38th match minute, Florão da América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Mané to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from You Yuan in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Florão da América's Dragolyub Chavdarov. Dragolyub Chavdarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gwidon Juchno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilson Duarte in the 48th minute.

In the 52nd match minute, Independente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by You Yuan to maneuver through the defense. Independente FC's Marcelo Gröhe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Independente FC from getting a goal against them. Florão da América were furious when Sancho Agusto was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Florão da América getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Sancho Agusto hit a great ball. You Yuan missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 57 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Gwidon Juchno right hand side. In the 59th minute, Dragolyub Chavdarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Independente FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Nilson Duarte hit a great ball. Gwidon Juchno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilson Duarte in the 65th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Nilson Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Juchno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Florão da América's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Tande came free, but Gwidon Juchno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gwidon Juchno came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Independente FC's Fernando Lucas. But to his dismay, Fernando Lucas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Florão da América's Zé Carlos de Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Independente FC's Cristian Baiano got a free kick in the 77th minute. Marcelo Gröhe made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Mohamed Mané sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos de Lara in the 90th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Zé Carlos de Lara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Florão da América fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Gwidon Juchno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
