Cheeky Nuts United's Elton John played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Ciano in the 23rd minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match Marco Tardelli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elton John skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Blue Twister Liberec's zone, Fabian Lundberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cheeky Nuts United's Elton John played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Ciano in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Cheeky Nuts United's Doctor Potass sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jiří Hasman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 40 minutes FC Blue Twister Liberec's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stathis Konstantakis who took care of the corner kick. Elton John came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Blue Twister Liberec's Orkun Okan. But to his dismay, Orkun Okan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Froilan Ciano made a kick off. Cheeky Nuts United's Elton John proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Cheeky Nuts United from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute, Froilan Ciano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elton John was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Elton John made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Ciano in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute FC Blue Twister Liberec were awarded a corner. Marco Tardelli went to the cornerflag to take it. FC Blue Twister Liberec's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
