Codruț Macaneață started the match with the kick off. A collision led to SC Bertioga getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Rômulo Mazza hit a great ball. Codruț Macaneață charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Codruț Macaneață the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Codruț Macaneață hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The supporters of SC Bertioga booed when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marin Ciulei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dacian Ghițescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gildo de Lima in the 11th minute. Anderson Pombal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Dacian Ghițescu made a huge save. In the 17th minute Flavio Troiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Ghițescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruninho Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silver Phoenix in the 18th minute of play. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lento Phoenix in the 20th minute. After taking down the ball on PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's corner Lento Phoenix fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bruninho Vaz quite easily take care of the ball. In the 23rd minute Aristide Fetea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruninho Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anderson Pombal took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dacian Ghițescu. Dacian Ghițescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 30th minute, Anderson Pombal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Bertioga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Benigno Gorosti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dacian Ghițescu having to make a save. In the 36th play minute Gildo de Lima came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dacian Ghițescu. 5-0. In the 39th match minute, SC Bertioga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gildo de Lima to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Macaneață in the 46th minute of play forced SC Bertioga's goalkeeper Bruninho Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Moise Ţurlău hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when Flavio Troiano made the kick off in the second half. Dacian Ghițescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Troiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Flavio Troiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Anderson Pombal put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dacian Ghițescu. Dacian Ghițescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Gorosti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dacian Ghițescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Pombal in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Gildo de Lima came free, but Dacian Ghițescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Flavio Troiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Bertioga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. In the 83rd minute, Benigno Gorosti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dacian Ghițescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Marin Ciulei got a free kick in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the game, SC Bertioga's Benigno Gorosti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dacian Ghițescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Inácio Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Moise Ţurlău hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Dacian Ghițescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo de Lima in the 93rd minute of the match. There was no doubt that SC Bertioga were the better team. SC Bertioga's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
