The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luis Marin hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Stig Petersson struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Ernesto Monge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tre Starka. Bennvar Galloway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Bennvar Galloway had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pinki Pied got free with Ernesto Monge in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Volio in the 20th minute of play forced Tre Starka's goalkeeper Vukašin Hadžiđulbić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Monge made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Pinki Pied sent off a good shot on target. After 23 played minutes Tre Starka got a freekick which was hit by Stig Petersson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bennvar Galloway in the 25th minute of play forced CS La Libertad's goalkeeper Ernesto Monge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Lobo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31stth minute of the game Pinki Pied who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CS La Libertad's Ernesto Monge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Tre Starka's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Lobo came free, but Vukašin Hadžiđulbić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes of play, CS La Libertad's Rodrigo Lobo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vukašin Hadžiđulbić was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute, Pinki Pied got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesto Monge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennvar Galloway in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute Pinki Pied shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Monge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bennvar Galloway made a kick off. CS La Libertad's Miguel Volio got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, CS La Libertad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mainor Coronado to maneuver through the defense. CS La Libertad made a substitution. Marco Ureña replaced Miguel Volio. CS La Libertad's Luis Martinez was substituted for Rodrigo Lobo. CS La Libertad made a substitution. Agustin Barrantes replaced Nikos Valassiou. The supporters of Tre Starka booed when CS La Libertad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mainor Coronado didn't get a good kick on the ball. CS La Libertad's Ernesto Monge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pinki Pied in the 73rd minute of play. Tre Starka were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after CS La Libertad's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stig Petersson took the corner. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agustin Barrantes during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to CS La Libertad getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Agustin Barrantes hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the game, Tre Starka's Pinki Pied nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Monge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 82nd minute Pinki Pied shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Monge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by CS La Libertad's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stig Petersson was slow to take the kick. During this time Tre Starka's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Pinki Pied advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-1 in the 85th minute. Luis Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Vukašin Hadžiđulbić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
