Tomé Mota made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrik Larsson got free with Tomé Mota in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Agua Santa's goalkeeper Tomé Mota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Agua Santa's Tomé Mota got control of the ball when Henrik Larsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrik Larsson scored 3-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomé Mota, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rafael Cruz's late challenge caught a Decathlon Dudes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Agua Santa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Agua Santa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Henrik Larsson scored to the left of an out of position Tomé Mota, making the score, 5-0. Agua Santa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrik Larsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Marinus Doren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Tomé Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costin Moisil kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Agua Santa made a substitution. Doni Recife replaced Dinei Cearense. In the 49th minute, Costin Moisil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrik Larsson was the one to do the kick off. Henrik Larsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Tomé Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Larsson in the 60th minute of play. Tomé Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Larsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Tomé Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Larsson in the 70th minute of the match. Tomé Mota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henrik Larsson went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute, Henrik Larsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Decathlon Dudes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Henrik Larsson struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Tomé Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Decathlon Dudes. Decathlon Dudes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Costin Moisil in the 79th minute. Henrik Larsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomé Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Decathlon Dudes's corner Costin Moisil fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tomé Mota quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Agua Santa defense, Henrik Larsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomé Mota. The Agua Santa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomé Mota should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Larsson came free, but Tomé Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrik Larsson took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomé Mota. Tomé Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Henrik Larsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomé Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Tomé Mota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henrik Larsson went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. When Marinus Doren came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Decathlon Dudes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marinus Doren couldn't finish the play. Decathlon Dudes walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
