Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haluk Pamir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Mutumba was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Dyrstad in the 51st minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bakezda Mann firmly grabbed it by the left post. Bakezda Mann was a little too slow when Alessandro Micucci got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 1-3. Preben Bjørkmo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the FK Dampsaga defense, Börje Stål kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bakezda Mann. The FK Dampsaga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bakezda Mann should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Dyrstad came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Haluk Pamir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Marius Kleven sped through Vykans Vikingar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcus Ekrot. 84 minutes into the game, Genaro Remicio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Bakezda Mann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to FK Dampsaga getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Juan Pablo Fretheim hit a great ball. With his leg Bakezda Mann managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Vykans Vikingar's Börje Stål fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, FK Dampsaga's Haluk Pamir got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Vykans Vikingar's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
