Morris FC's Henry Örtendal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Morris FC from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the game, Vc Brye's Fox 鲁迅 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabríel Vassaras blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henry Örtendal having to make a save. 20 minutes into the match, Morris FC's goalkeeper Henry Örtendal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert De nuijter. Dan Cutean made a great header on Vc Brye's corner, it was just that Morris FC's Henry Örtendal managed to reach the ball for a save. Horia Buzea kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Gabríel Vassaras ran back to his position shaking his head. Sven-Edvin Britz lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Morris FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Sven-Edvin Britz hit a great ball. Gabríel Vassaras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice moves Oyedeji Rau could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Henry Örtendal however easily saved by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabríel Vassaras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Fox 鲁迅 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Örtendal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert De nuijter scored 8-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henry Örtendal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Morris FC's Henry Örtendal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fox 鲁迅 in the 56th minute of play. The Morris FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Örtendal should have stopped the shot.
