With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guter Tobia in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Carlos Torres saved Terapia Intensiva from getting behind. In the 4th minute of the match Aves Negras got a corner. Terapia Intensiva's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enrique Perico ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Enrique Perico almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Terapia Intensiva's José Carlos Torres did a great save. After 8 minutes, Guter Tobia made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Terapia Intensiva's José Carlos Torres tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Aves Negras's Guter Tobia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Carlos Torres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Guter Tobia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guter Tobia got free with José Carlos Torres in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 19 minutes of play, Aves Negras's Guter Tobia made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guter Tobia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Torres having to interfere. Enrique Perico kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Guter Tobia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aves Negras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guter Tobia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Guter Tobia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With 46 minutes on the clock, Raimundo Padro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 45th minute, one of Aves Negras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aves Negras. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melquiades Beila to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guter Tobia in the 53rd minute of play forced Terapia Intensiva's goalkeeper José Carlos Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aves Negras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Clarence Seedorf in the 54th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Guter Tobia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aves Negras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guter Tobia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st match minute, Terapia Intensiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Sandalio to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Aves Negras booed when Terapia Intensiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Sandalio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Artal in the 64th minute of play forced Terapia Intensiva's goalkeeper José Carlos Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aves Negras's Efrain Artal got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Efrain Artal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Carlos Torres. Terapia Intensiva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efrain Artal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Efrain Artal scored 5-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Carlos Torres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Efrain Artal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th match minute, Terapia Intensiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Romo to maneuver through the defense. Efrain Artal took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Carlos Torres. José Carlos Torres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Efrain Artal in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Carlos Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Terapia Intensiva's goalkeeper José Carlos Torres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th match minute, Terapia Intensiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Romo to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Efrain Artal made a precise shot to the right of José Carlos Torres. Terapia Intensiva's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. Efrain Artal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Christian Sandalio hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. José Carlos Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clarence Seedorf in the 93rd minute of play. José Carlos Torres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Efrain Artal went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. Efrain Artal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Carlos Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Aves Negras's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
