Sever Patriciu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Carlos Torres having to make a save. 21 minutes into the game, Luis Nafarroa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Terapia Intensiva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Luck the free kick. The supporters of FC Luck booed when Terapia Intensiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Nafarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Vasile Târcă sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Carlos Torres skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Terapia Intensiva getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Lucio Luix hit a great ball. Narcis Voinescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Carlos Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Narcis Voinescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Luck's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narcis Voinescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alípio Albuquerque during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Terapia Intensiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Gustau to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Terapia Intensiva's José Carlos Torres got control of the ball when Sever Patriciu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Luck eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
