When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Fred Lara took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lucjan Sidorowicz to make any attempt to save it. Godo Gøl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliusz Wieczorek in the 19th minute of play. The MKS MŁAWA fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when MKS MŁAWA's Zenon Danisiewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Godo Gøl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zenon Danisiewicz went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The FC Lugano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Godo Gøl should have stopped the shot. Jack Saunders could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Lucjan Sidorowicz made a huge save. Lucjan Sidorowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wincenty Kochowski in the 47th minute.

In the 93rd minute, Alexander Testa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The FC Lugano fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MKS MŁAWA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
