Dave Di Filippo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Lance Malliouris 6 minutes into the match. Horea Popârcea kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Oskar Haeger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Spengler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Robin Hood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Malliouris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 19 in the game by Dave Di Filippo from a close distance when the talented Lance Malliouris managed to make a qualified save. FC Schonebeck's players were relieved. Dave Di Filippos short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Lance Malliouris to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 25 minutes into the match, Ingemar Stålman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lance Malliouris. FC Schonebeck's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingemar Stålman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dave Di Filippo in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lance Malliouris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Dave Di Filippo put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lance Malliouris. In the 36th minute Anselm Hayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Haeger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, FC Schonebeck's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Di Filippo came free, but Lance Malliouris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oskar Haeger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselm Hayer in the 39th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingemar Stålman got free with Lance Malliouris in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hermanö Oilers were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after FC Schonebeck's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bror Lilja took the corner. Bror Lilja made a great header on Hermanö Oilers's corner, it was just that FC Schonebeck's Lance Malliouris managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to FC Schonebeck getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Boris Spengler hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lothar Drinkard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Hermanö Oilers getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Horea Popârcea hit a great ball. Paul Some, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's goalkeeper Oskar Haeger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lothar Drinkard. Lance Malliouris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Di Filippo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermanö Oilers's Apa Banana was substituted for Erland Mellin. FC Schonebeck were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Hermanö Oilers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paul Some took the corner. Anselm Hayer made a great header on FC Schonebeck's corner, it was just that Hermanö Oilers's Oskar Haeger managed to reach the ball for a save. Anselm Hayer had several of the Hermanö Oilers's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Oskar Haeger as he didn't even see the shot coming. Oskar Haeger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Spengler in the 75th minute of the match. Lance Malliouris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Hood in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to FC Schonebeck getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Raphael Koellner hit a great ball. Raphael Koellner kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Bror Lilja shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lance Malliouris showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lance Malliouris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Stålman in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Ingemar Stålman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hermanö Oilers's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingemar Stålman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lance Malliouris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lance Malliouris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Di Filippo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the game, Hermanö Oilers's Dave Di Filippo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lance Malliouris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Lance Malliouris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dave Di Filippo's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Lance Malliouris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Di Filippo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermanö Oilers were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Schonebeck for a fine match.
