The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Bertoni in the 11th minute of play forced Ice Valley FC's goalkeeper Cirilo Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Oroni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Nereo Ledesma made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Ciro Zoff managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLC Winter's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Zoff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirilo Heli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Ciro Zoff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Alessandro Bertoni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cirilo Heli. Ice Valley FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessandro Bertoni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. 81 minutes into the match, Enzo Oroni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cirilo Heli. Cirilo Heli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Ermanno Ruzzi came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the CLC Winter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermanno Ruzzi couldn't finish the play. After 95 minutes, Armando Oriche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ice Valley FC and the CLC Winter players grew even worse after the yellow card. Armando Oriche hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Cirilo Heli was a little too slow when Alessandro Bertoni got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute.
