Friday Mercury kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Stardust Unicorns XI were furious when Marc Östlund was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 16th minute, one of Stardust Unicorns XI:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Stardust Unicorns XI. 25 minutes into the match, Stardust Unicorns XI's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Bautista came free, but Manfred Wallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfred Wallin came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Hamburg City Vampires's Lew Rampp. But to his dismay, Lew Rampp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 31st minute Andrea Pirlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manfred Wallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Pirlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ariel Bautista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Manfred Wallin made a huge save. Cosme Haitz hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Stardust Unicorns XI's Manfred Wallin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Stardust Unicorns XI from getting a goal against them. Andrea Pirlo struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Manfred Wallin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hamburg City Vampires.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rock Etmanis to strike the kick off in the second half. Stardust Unicorns XI's Manfred Wallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Di Martino in the 59th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Stardust Unicorns XI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Haitz to maneuver through the defense. Walery Jandryca was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Filippo Di Martino scored 8-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manfred Wallin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Barry Mans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manfred Wallin. Stardust Unicorns XI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barry Mans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippo Di Martino in the 90th minute of play forced Stardust Unicorns XI's goalkeeper Manfred Wallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st match minute, Hamburg City Vampires was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filippo Di Martino to maneuver through the defense. Manfred Wallin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ariel Bautista's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Barry Mans took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manfred Wallin. Manfred Wallin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. Hamburg City Vampires's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
