The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Ilie Balaci got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Ilie Balaci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ilie Balaci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ilie Hortopan hit a great ball. Clemente do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Balaci in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Ivan Andrei got a free kick in the 15th minute. Barra Funda F.C's Hortêncio Freire got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barra Funda F.C's Clemente do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Barra Funda F.C from getting a goal against them. Clemente do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Balaci in the 26th minute of play. Barra Funda F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Ilie Balaci scored to the left of an out of position Clemente do Vale, making the score, 1-0. Ilie Balaci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clemente do Vale having to make a save. Ilie Balacis short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Clemente do Vale to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Ilie Balaci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente do Vale was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. If Ilie Balaci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Barra Funda F.C's Clemente do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Barra Funda F.C from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ilie Balaci in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Alvarenga to make the kick off. Ilie Balaci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clemente do Vale having to make a save. Ilie Balaci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente do Vale having to interfere. Clemente do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Balaci in the 58th minute of the match. If Ilie Balaci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clemente do Vale came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Ilie Balaci. But to his dismay, Ilie Balaci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Barra Funda F.C getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Luizão Paraense hit a great ball. The supporters of Barra Funda F.C booed when F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Balaci didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Ilie Balaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Balaci in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Barra Funda F.C's Amílton Gomes got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barra Funda F.C's goalkeeper Clemente do Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ilie Balaci in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente do Vale saved Barra Funda F.C from getting behind. Ivan Andrei's late challenge caught a Barra Funda F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Andrei helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute, Ivan Andrei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the game, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Ilie Balaci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clemente do Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a rather tough play, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Pascal Grooss got a free kick in the 94th minute. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
