Spectators: 186 (Terracing: 140, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sidney Forbes got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Kerry Sellers came free, but Tomasz Piwko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C. A. Independiente were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after KS Piastów Sosnowiec's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eric Snowden took the corner. Kerry Sellers succeeded in the game's 7th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Farid Mondragón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariusz Zgonina in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Kerry Sellers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Piwko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Kerry Sellers came free, but Tomasz Piwko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomasz Piwko stood somewhat misplaced when Kerry Sellers came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 15 minute. KS Piastów Sosnowiec were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after C. A. Independiente's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Apolo Beltza took the corner. With his leg Tomasz Piwko managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when C. A. Independiente's Sidney Forbes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko got control of the ball when Sidney Forbes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Tomasz Piwko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sid Chadwick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sid Chadwick got free with Tomasz Piwko in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

C. A. Independiente's Tommie Bolton was substituted for Sidney Forbes. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stelian Joldea was the one to do the kick off. Sid Chadwick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Tomasz Piwko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Claudio Marangoni notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko. Tomasz Piwko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 58 minutes of play, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Stelian Joldea made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Farid Mondragón was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, C. A. Independiente's Eric Snowden got a free kick in the 61st minute. With a little luck, C. A. Independiente's Farid Mondragón got control of the ball when Mariusz Zgonina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomasz Piwko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerry Sellers in the 68th minute of the match. C. A. Independiente's Garth Gould was substituted for Alfredo Felder. After a rather tough play, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Hieronim Winszman got a free kick in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kerry Sellers in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomasz Piwko saved KS Piastów Sosnowiec from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Mariusz Zgonina came free, but Farid Mondragón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomasz Piwko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sid Chadwick, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by KS Piastów Sosnowiec's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tommie Bolton was slow to take the kick. During this time C. A. Independiente's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 83 minutes, Mariusz Zgonina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariusz Zgonina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 played minutes KS Piastów Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Mariusz Zgonina. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Independiente's zone, Mariusz Zgonina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Farid Mondragón came out of the goal and Mariusz Zgonina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 minutes C. A. Independiente's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Apolo Beltza who took care of the corner kick. The corner led KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Reşat Rasif to fire away a dangerous shot which Farid Mondragón despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Stelian Joldea managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Stelian Joldea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Farid Mondragón breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Farid Mondragón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelian Joldea in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Kerry Sellers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. Independiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
