The FIEL ALGUSTA fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when FIEL ALGUSTA's Murillo Pernambucano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiquinho Soares in the 21st minute of play forced Nada Pontual F.C's goalkeeper Duda Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FIEL ALGUSTA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Juvenal Couto in the 23rd minute. Ambrosio Boni charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ambrosio Boni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 23 minutes into the game, one of Nada Pontual F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 27th minute, Hortêncio Vander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nada Pontual F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 30th match minute, FIEL ALGUSTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal Couto to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FIEL ALGUSTA booed when Nada Pontual F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ambrosio Boni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raúl da Silveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Murillo Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Berger having to interfere. The supporters of Nada Pontual F.C booed when FIEL ALGUSTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hortêncio Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Nada Pontual F.C's Macit Buyrukalp was substituted for Hortêncio Vander. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Macit Buyrukalp was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Nada Pontual F.C's Macit Buyrukalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raúl da Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FIEL ALGUSTA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Macit Buyrukalp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Benedito Pirani hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th match minute, FIEL ALGUSTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito Pirani to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Macit Buyrukalp made a precise shot to the right of Raúl da Silveira. FIEL ALGUSTA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Macit Buyrukalp put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Raúl da Silveira. FIEL ALGUSTA's Raúl da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauã Ramos in the 86th minute of play. Raúl da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Macit Buyrukalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th match minute, FIEL ALGUSTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. A well-hit corner resulted in Elano Borges heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the referee ended the match the Nada Pontual F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
