Quilaquina AFC's Baldomiro Cibran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Quilaquina AFC from getting a goal against them. Quilaquina AFC's Baldomiro Cibran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Behçet Alp in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Saul Favila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilaquina AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Favila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Quilaquina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Behçet Alp came free, but Baldomiro Cibran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomiro Cibran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Albani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fermin Reno's late challenge caught a Farafulla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fermin Reno helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, Quilaquina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Reno to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Quilaquina AFC's goalkeeper Baldomiro Cibran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Behçet Alp. After a defensive mix-up in Farafulla FC's zone, Leonel Semeno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demetrio Berardo came out of the goal and Leonel Semeno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomiro Cibran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behçet Alp in the 27th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Farafulla FC's Baldomiro Cibran threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ryan Portanares, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 30th minute Leonel Semeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Berardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Farafulla FC booed when Quilaquina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Favila didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Ryan Portanares from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Baldomiro Cibran's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Demetrio Berardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Semeno in the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Farafulla FC's Angelo Albani got a free kick in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Min in the 39th minute of play forced Farafulla FC's goalkeeper Demetrio Berardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Angelo Ceci made a precise shot to the right of Baldomiro Cibran. Quilaquina AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Quilaquina AFC made a substitution. Vicente Tristan replaced Leonel Semeno. The wind increased when Andriy Shevchenko made the kick off in the second half. Baldomiro Cibran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andriy Shevchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Behçet Alp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Cibran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Demetrio Berardo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 59th minute, Angelo Ceci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Farafulla FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Andriy Shevchenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Andriy Shevchenko notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Quilaquina AFC's Baldomiro Cibran. Baldomiro Cibran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Vicente Tristan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Facundo Vaca hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Vicente Tristan had several of the Farafulla FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Demetrio Berardo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Vicente Tristan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Farafulla FC's Demetrio Berardo got control of the ball when Vicente Tristan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Quilaquina AFC's Vicente Tristan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Demetrio Berardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Demetrio Berardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Tristan in the 77th minute. After taking down the ball on Quilaquina AFC's corner Saul Favila fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Demetrio Berardo quite easily take care of the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Behçet Alp notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Quilaquina AFC's Baldomiro Cibran. Baldomiro Cibran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute, Angelo Albani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomiro Cibran was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 86th match minute, Farafulla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andriy Shevchenko to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Tristan in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demetrio Berardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the game, Farafulla FC's Angelo Ceci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomiro Cibran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. In the 97th minute, Behçet Alp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Farafulla FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Quilaquina AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Farafulla FC.
