Joel Delfino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zenon Jandryca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to La Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Grigoriy Medved hit a great ball. 29 minutes in the game Mai Zhen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Michal Kempka. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans Otterlei in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Ferran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Hans Otterlei took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for David Ferran to make any attempt to save it. 46 minutes into the game, Ludomir Domin threw the ball into play from the sideline. La Cosa Nostra's Jairo Boniel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

FC WAWER's David Ferran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Otterlei in the 54th minute of play. David Ferran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Otterlei, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Zenon Jandryca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Zakrzewski got free with Joel Delfino in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adam Zakrzewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Joel Delfino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Cosa Nostra made a substitution. Marciano Bizen replaced Hans Otterlei. The supporters of La Cosa Nostra booed when FC WAWER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnaba Karanewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marciano Bizen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Ferran having to make a save.
