The referee ignored Polonium AC's protests and gave Luciano Tomi a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Polonium AC got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Tomi. After recieving a nice pass, Academia de Campeones's Fabian Bernaldo tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Generoso Porro kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of Polonium AC booed when Academia de Campeones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Ángel Gambier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Miguel Ángel Gambier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia de Campeones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Ángel Gambier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Academia de Campeones's Fabian Bernaldo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rafael Viana but with some difficulty. In the 79th minute Kai Havertz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kai Havertz's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Rafael Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai Havertz, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Academia de Campeones eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
