Dalmacio Dubardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brecht Dheedene in the 19th minute of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Gencay Bolat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cimarrones F.C.'s Themba Takane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gencay Bolat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Themba Takane made a huge save. In the 32nd minute Demetrio Giacchetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Dubardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Gencay Bolat reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Themba Takane. The goal made the score 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Academia Serengetti's Gencay Bolat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Themba Takane. That made the score 4-1 after 42 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gencay Bolat during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Real Academia Serengetti got a freekick which was hit by Gencay Bolat. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gencay Bolat got free with Themba Takane in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gencay Bolat was the one to do the kick off. Cimarrones F.C. made a substitution. Rutenio Respaldizar replaced Zuzen Aldeco. Cimarrones F.C. were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Real Academia Serengetti's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Demetrio Giacchetti took the corner. 71 minutes into the game, Miguel Borja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Themba Takane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cimarrones F.C.'s Taniel Kips was substituted for Demetrio Giacchetti. 77 minutes into the match, Cimarrones F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Borja came free, but Themba Takane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Real Academia Serengetti's Eulalio Palban got a free kick in the 79th minute. Brecht Dheedene recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Themba Takane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Borja in the 88th minute of play. In the 94th minute Miguel Borja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themba Takane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cimarrones F.C. booed when Real Academia Serengetti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin De Mulder didn't get a good kick on the ball.
