Ali Nurettin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nils-Erik Askelöf having to make a save. In the 9th minute of the match Pinner Cluj-Napoca got a corner. Southern Thrashers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristian Gallo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cristian Gallo made a great header on Pinner Cluj-Napoca's corner, it was just that Southern Thrashers's Nils-Erik Askelöf managed to reach the ball for a save. 11 minutes into the game, one of Southern Thrashers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 12 minutes into the game, Ali Nurettin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nils-Erik Askelöf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Nils-Erik Askelöf successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ali Nurettin scored 2-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils-Erik Askelöf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Nurettin in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils-Erik Askelöf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ali Nurettin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Nils-Erik Askelöf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Ali Nurettin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nils-Erik Askelöf. Nils-Erik Askelöf yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Ali Nurettin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nils-Erik Askelöf. That made the score 4-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match, Ali Nurettin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nils-Erik Askelöf saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Southern Thrashers's Cai Inestrosa in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pinner Cluj-Napoca's goalie prevented a goal. After 44 minutes of play, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Ali Nurettin made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nils-Erik Askelöf was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute, Ali Nurettin made a precise shot to the right of Nils-Erik Askelöf. Southern Thrashers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Nils-Erik Askelöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nurettin in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Southern Thrashers defense, Petruț Mircescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils-Erik Askelöf. The Southern Thrashers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils-Erik Askelöf should have stopped the shot. Nils-Erik Askelöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Nurettin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pinner Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Romeo Vlas hit a great ball. Jalmari Mikkonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cai Inestrosa in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Ali Nurettin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nurkan Salah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils-Erik Askelöf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petruț Mircescu's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Jalmari Mikkonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Inestrosa in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Southern Thrashers's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Askelöf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Cristian Gallo to fire away a dangerous shot which Nils-Erik Askelöf despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Southern Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Nurettin came free, but Nils-Erik Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Nurettin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pinner Cluj-Napoca made a substitution. Franco Vázquez replaced Cristian Gallo. 86 minutes into the match, Southern Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Vasilache came free, but Nils-Erik Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Southern Thrashers's Oz Beer got a free kick in the 89th minute. Adan Umea kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Nils-Erik Askelöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nurettin in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pinner Cluj-Napoca fully deserved thier win.
