The audience thought a goal was coming when Manfredo Aguiar got free with Ladislao Osasun in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Germano Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Eufemio in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute Calixto Landoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Calixto Landoff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Germano Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 27 minutes into the game, Angua FC's Calixto Landoff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Germano Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Mundial EC's Germano Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Eufemio in the 30th minute of play. When Angua FC's Calixto Landoff in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Angua FC's Braulio Lopes was substituted for Augusto Sagrario. After a rather tough play, Mundial EC's Manfredo Aguiar got a free kick in the 48th minute. After the first half Angua FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Senna to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Angua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calixto Landoff to maneuver through the defense. Ladislao Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfredo Aguiar in the 59th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Tomás Senna in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Angua FC's Ciriaco Endira. Reinaldo de Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Carolo Eufemio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Germano Moraes. The Mundial EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Angua FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
