Alvaro Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Emesto in the 8th minute of play. Ali Modrić spun around in front of the goal 9 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Scofield's goal. Alvaro Valente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clemente Emesto went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute Clemente Emesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Emesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 20th minute Clemente Emesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guiñazú FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ali Modrić in the 21st minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Clemente Emesto heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Armando Monico made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Feliciano Baumar sent off a good shot on target. Feliciano Baumar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Monico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Guiñazú FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Dalmacio Sazon hit a great ball. Alvaro Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Emesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Scofield's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Emesto came free, but Alvaro Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Modrić to make the kick off. Feliciano Baumar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Monico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 55thth minute of the game Feliciano Baumar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guiñazú FC's Armando Monico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Scofield's Rens Van Eyck got a free kick in the 57th minute. Armando Monico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Baumar in the 59th minute of the match. Scofield's attentive Alto Roca managed to snatch the ball when Dalmacio Sazon made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. Alvaro Valente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Emesto in the 65th minute. Alto Roca charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alto Roca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Scofield got a freekick which was hit by Alto Roca. Scofield made a substitution. Cayetano Urdin replaced Feliciano Baumar. Alto Roca hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Armando Monico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Urdin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scofield:s Alvaro Valente showed great skill when he stopped Ali Modrić:s penalty. Scofield's Alto Roca managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cirilo Orain in the 76 minute of the game. The supporters of Scofield booed when Guiñazú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Estavan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Clemente Emesto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Valente was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Scofield's Alvaro Valente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Scofield from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Guiñazú FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Scofield.
