Oswaldo Paraíba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mark Chian went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute Mark Chian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oswaldo Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ang Chew, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Atlético-PR defense, Mark Chian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oswaldo Paraíba. The Atlético-PR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oswaldo Paraíba should have stopped the shot. Oswaldo Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jithu Rajah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético-PR's Oswaldo Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ang Chew in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ang Chew in the 28th minute of play forced Atlético-PR's goalkeeper Oswaldo Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. NFH Family United's Alexander Sum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save NFH Family United from getting a goal against them. Perivaldo Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Alexander Sum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Atlético-PR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio Cruz to maneuver through the defense. If Perivaldo Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oswaldo Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Chian in the 43rd minute of play. Oswaldo Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ang Chew, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Ren Ang Ming hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedrinho Hoffmann to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Jithu Rajah kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oswaldo Paraíba. That made the score 1-4 in the 53 minute of play. Oswaldo Paraíba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ang Chew in the 58th minute. If Márcio Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Chian in the 67th minute of play forced Atlético-PR's goalkeeper Oswaldo Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Sum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hong Jian Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 97 minutes into the match, NFH Family United's goal looked a bit too open when Hong Jian Fan came free, but Alexander Sum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NFH Family United played a much better game than Atlético-PR and deserved their victory. The Atlético-PR players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
