An unexpectedly hard shot by Darwin Núñez in the 6th minute of play forced Fort Comme Un Turc's goalkeeper Battal Seyyit Tunçhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Fort Comme Un Turc's Mustafa Helvacıoğlu got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 14 minutes, Gică Hagi made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fort Comme Un Turc's Battal Seyyit Tunçhan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Korneliusz Kocieniewski notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Fort Comme Un Turc's Battal Seyyit Tunçhan. Battal Seyyit Tunçhan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fort Comme Un Turc's Battal Seyyit Tunçhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Buciu in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, FC STEAUA BRAILA's Bruno Riccardi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Battal Seyyit Tunçhan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Hektor Dino came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aron Hârțan could save by the left post. 38 minutes into the match, Fort Comme Un Turc's goal looked a bit too open when Gică Hagi came free, but Battal Seyyit Tunçhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hektor Dino got free with Aron Hârțan in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Battal Seyyit Tunçhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darwin Núñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Fort Comme Un Turc booed when FC STEAUA BRAILA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Zbârlea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Korneliusz Kocieniewski made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naim Hacıağa in the 51st minute of play forced FC STEAUA BRAILA's goalkeeper Aron Hârțan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihail Zbârlea hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Aron Hârțan came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Fort Comme Un Turc's Naim Hacıağa. But to his dismay, Naim Hacıağa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Battal Seyyit Tunçhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Buciu in the 77th minute of play. Mustafa Helvacıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Hakkı Devrim Hataylı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Hârțan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Gică Hagi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC STEAUA BRAILA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gică Hagi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Fort Comme Un Turc getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ali Asım Ateşoğlu hit a great ball. FC STEAUA BRAILA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
