MagicTeam's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Xavi van Beek in the 19th minute. Eduard Hilpert kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. FC Hamburg's Alban Bolesta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Rosati in the 24th minute of play. Eugenio Rosati recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of MagicTeam booed when FC Hamburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Hilpert didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Xavi van Beek came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the MagicTeam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavi van Beek couldn't finish the play. FC Hamburg's Alban Bolesta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lieven Demarrez in the 29th minute of play. Alban Bolesta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lieven Demarrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, MagicTeam's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Apostel came free, but Jeoffrey De Prins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alban Bolesta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ray Kindermans in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Hamburg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xavi van Beek was slow to take the kick. During this time MagicTeam's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ray Kindermans in the 38th minute of play forced FC Hamburg's goalkeeper Alban Bolesta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MagicTeam's Jan Hop quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Darius Minge, made in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Hamburg's goalkeeper Alban Bolesta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46thth minute of the game Ray Kindermans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Hamburg's Alban Bolesta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half MagicTeam were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrique Prata to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Eugenio Rosati's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alban Bolesta was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. FC Hamburg's Alban Bolesta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ray Kindermans in the 53rd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Ray Kindermans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alban Bolesta. A beautiful save bye FC Hamburg's goalie prevented a goal. 86 minutes into the game, Eugenio Rosati recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alban Bolesta. Eugenio Rosati showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Lieven Demarrez's late challenge caught a FC Hamburg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lieven Demarrez helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes MagicTeam got a freekick which was hit by Lieven Demarrez. MagicTeam's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
