Sandro Cavareda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patryk Radziszewski in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Haydar Genişyürek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CEGIA CREW fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. AFC Richmond's Sandro Cavareda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Lauaxeta in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haydar Genişyürek in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandro Cavareda saved AFC Richmond from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haydar Genişyürek in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandro Cavareda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sandro Cavareda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patryk Radziszewski in the 30th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haydar Genişyürek in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandro Cavareda saved AFC Richmond from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haydar Genişyürek in the 33rd minute of play forced AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Sandro Cavareda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Haydar Genişyürek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Sandro Cavareda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 39 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Haydar Genişyürek came free, but Sandro Cavareda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes CEGIA CREW got a freekick which was hit by Damazy Ankiewicz. Remicio Price recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remicio Price was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Patryk Radziszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Cavareda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patryk Radziszewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Sandro Cavareda made a huge save. Haydar Genişyürek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patryk Radziszewski in the 60th minute of play forced AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Sandro Cavareda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aydemir Akburak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remicio Price in the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Gustavo Martiarena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Richmond's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CEGIA CREW the free kick. In the 74th minute, AFC Richmond's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nestor Lauaxeta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 76th minute of the match, Haydar Genişyürek got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sandro Cavareda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, CEGIA CREW's Hugon Jerzyk got a free kick in the 85th minute. Cyryl Borucki got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tayyar Cambaz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tayyar Cambaz in the 89th minute of play forced AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Sandro Cavareda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinicio Celada was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AFC Richmond! The CEGIA CREW supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CEGIA CREW would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
