The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match The Owls got a corner. San Nicolò Kings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. William Creemers ran over to the corner to take the kick. William Creemers made a great header on The Owls's corner, it was just that San Nicolò Kings's Franco Catucci managed to reach the ball for a save. The throw-in from Fabio Kåmark in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by The Owls's Cristian Furdui. The Owls's Gino Galante was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 8th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 11th minute, Fabio Kåmark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franco Catucci made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Gino Galante sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the game, Gino Galante recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Franco Catucci. Gino Galante showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Jan-Åke Emander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Tagliente in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Nedo Nadi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Åke Emander. The Owls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nedo Nadi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 25 minutes into the game, Gino Galante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Franco Catucci was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gino Galante's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Franco Catucci skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fabio Kåmark hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Bertolini in the 37th minute of play forced The Owls's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Emander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cazimir Dominte's late challenge caught a San Nicolò Kings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cazimir Dominte helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of San Nicolò Kings booed when The Owls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Dominte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Åke Emander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nedo Nadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Davide Bertolini to make the kick off. Gino Galante might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Catucci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gino Galante ran back to his position shaking his head. Gino Galante kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Jan-Åke Emander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Tagliente, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. San Nicolò Kings's Franco Catucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Galante in the 69th minute of play. Franco Catucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Galante in the 72nd minute of play. Jan-Åke Emander made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Nedo Nadi sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Gino Galante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franco Catucci was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Gino Galante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Franco Catucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Galante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 minutes of play, The Owls's Gino Galante made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franco Catucci was left in no man's land by his defense there! San Nicolò Kings's April Kul was substituted for Davide Bertolini. The Owls's Ubarna Harroyo was substituted for Gino Galante. 87 minutes into the match, Ubarna Harroyo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franco Catucci. San Nicolò Kings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ubarna Harroyo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. San Nicolò Kings's Corrado Trevisani managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cazimir Dominte in the 91 minute of the game. Franco Catucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubarna Harroyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Ubarna Harroyo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franco Catucci. San Nicolò Kings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ubarna Harroyo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. After 94 played minutes San Nicolò Kings got a freekick which was hit by Nedo Nadi. Franco Catucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubarna Harroyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. The Owls had won after a very even match.
