After 9 played minutes The Owls got a freekick which was hit by Corneliu Fox. Jan-Åke Emander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Roberts in the 13th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, The Owls's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Emander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hendrik Kobakäpp. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Corneliu Fox put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Owls fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Jan-Åke Emander had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Kuido Joala's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Gino Galante took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Avraam Iasonidis. Avraam Iasonidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 30th minute of the match William Creemers sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Avraam Iasonidis skillfully saved the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Angelino Jolin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of The Owls's Jan-Åke Emander. Jan-Åke Emander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute Gino Galante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avraam Iasonidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, The Owls's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Emander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelino Jolin. With an all-out effort, The Owls's Avraam Iasonidis threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gino Galante, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Club Ahja's Avraam Iasonidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Ahja from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Jolin in the 94th minute of play forced The Owls's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Emander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avraam Iasonidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubarna Harroyo in the 95th minute of play. The Club Ahja supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching The Owls's performance. The match ended with a win for The Owls.
