An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Jaume in the 2nd minute of play forced F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s goalkeeper Emilian Ferenț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute Domingo Librado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilian Ferenț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilian Ferenț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Jaume in the 5th minute of the match. If Matias Barros Schelloto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Arquímedes booed when F.C.DrobetA-Știința- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Barros Schelloto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Arquímedes's Fernando Nabar in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s goalie prevented a goal. F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Emilian Ferenț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Librado in the 17th minute of play. Arquímedes were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Danilo Olayo took the corner. The corner led Arquímedes's Domingo Librado to fire away a dangerous shot which Emilian Ferenț despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Arquímedes booed when F.C.DrobetA-Știința- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vic Cos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Olayo, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Emilian Ferenț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Jaume in the 27th minute of play. Domingo Librado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Gheorghe Buta got a free kick in the 30th minute. Bai Liang Kun hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Arquímedes's Danilo Olayo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilian Ferenț narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Nabar came free, but Emilian Ferenț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingo Librado in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilian Ferenț prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st match minute, F.C.DrobetA-Știința- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Randle Morse to maneuver through the defense. Arquímedes's Danilo Olayo got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matias Barros Schelloto was the one to do the kick off. Matias Barros Schelloto struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Jeremias Cordario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.DrobetA-Știința-. Angel Jaume's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilian Ferenț read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Danilo Olayo was slow to take the kick. During this time Arquímedes's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Angel Jaume almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Emilian Ferenț did a great save. After a rather tough play, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Matias Barros Schelloto got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Emilian Ferenț got control of the ball when Angel Jaume tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute Domingo Librado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilian Ferenț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Arquímedes's Arquímedes Ladio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emilian Ferenț. That made the score 0-2 after 68 minutes of play. Domingo Librado struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Emilian Ferenț didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arquímedes. A nice corner shot did that Arquímedes Ladio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emilian Ferenț quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 77 minutes into the match, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s goalkeeper Emilian Ferenț had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angel Jaume. The audience was convinced that Domingo Librado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilian Ferenț was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Emilian Ferenț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Librado in the 82nd minute of play. F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Emilian Ferenț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arquímedes Ladio in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the F.C.DrobetA-Știința- defense, Angel Jaume kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emilian Ferenț. The F.C.DrobetA-Știința- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilian Ferenț should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute Domingo Librado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilian Ferenț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The F.C.DrobetA-Știința- fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Arquímedes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
