Adan Lartaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Åström in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Ongile came free, but Adan Lartaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Dolcet in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Åke Lidström saved Blomstermåla BK from getting behind. In the 26th minute Arnulfo Ongile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Lartaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arnulfo Ongile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pär Skoglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blomstermåla BK's Karl-Åke Lidström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Blomstermåla BK from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
