Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 詹俊 á Bø in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. When 詹俊 á Bø came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Wellington Phoenix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 詹俊 á Bø couldn't finish the play. Witalis Czysty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Vykan Víkingsson made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, Wellington Phoenix's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Walczyk came free, but Vykan Víkingsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Slawomir Osikowicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 詹俊 á Bø made a kick off. With a little luck, Skrwa Sikórz's Przemyslaw Winnicki got control of the ball when Jaume Roure tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wellington Phoenix's Vykan Víkingsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Gargasz in the 66th minute of play.
