Iurie Purcaru hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tzvyatko Gadzhalov in the 14th minute of play forced Eantdit FK's goalkeeper Pang Yao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eantdit FK's Halil Okaner in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Octavian Braica scored 2-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexi Niklin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Panait Gherase had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Halil Okaner's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alexi Niklin firmly grabbed it by the left post. SEA FALCONS's Tzvyatko Gadzhalov got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pang Yao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krasen Búnkov in the 46th minute of the match. Halil Okaner's late challenge caught a SEA FALCONS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Halil Okaner helped the player get up and apologised.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Halil Okaner was the one to do the kick off. Alexi Niklin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Pânzaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Pang Yao made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Tzvyatko Gadzhalov sent off a good shot on target. Tzvyatko Gadzhalov in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Alexi Niklin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. The SEA FALCONS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexi Niklin should have stopped the shot. SEA FALCONS's Alexi Niklin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halil Okaner in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute Halil Okaner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexi Niklin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Octavian Braica managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eantdit FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavian Braica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexi Niklin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th minute, Halil Okaner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
