Damián Åkerman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Albert Lövskog made a huge save. Djurgården IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Damián Åkerman scored to the left of an out of position Albert Lövskog, making the score, 2-0. Albert Lövskog was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Damián Åkerman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 14 minute of play. After 17 minutes, Damián Åkerman made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Djurgården IF's Albert Lövskog tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th play minute Eustaquio Bazkoare came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Albert Lövskog. 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damián Åkerman in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albert Lövskog saved Djurgården IF from getting behind. Damián Åkerman took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albert Lövskog. Albert Lövskog dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Albert Lövskog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Lage, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The supporters of INTER de Córdoba booed when Djurgården IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Pilberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Damián Åkerman got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 7-0. 37 minutes into the match. Damián Åkerman struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Albert Lövskog didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER de Córdoba. The crowd rose to their feet as INTER de Córdoba's Damián Åkerman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albert Lövskog. That made the score 8-0 after 41 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Djurgården IF's Åke Pilberg got a free kick in the 44th minute. Djurgården IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Damián Åkerman scored to the left of an out of position Albert Lövskog, making the score, 9-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Klas Enström to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Vladimiro Lage managed to get in a good position for a shot. INTER de Córdoba's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimiro Lage was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Lövskog breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albert Lövskog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Bazkoare in the 54th minute of play. Albert Lövskog came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by INTER de Córdoba's Damián Åkerman. But to his dismay, Damián Åkerman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. 59 minutes into the match, Damián Åkerman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albert Lövskog. Djurgården IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damián Åkerman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. INTER de Córdoba made a substitution. Blas Guzman replaced Vladimiro Lage. INTER de Córdoba's Cheng Qian Qiang was substituted for Damián Åkerman. In the 63rd match minute, Djurgården IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Odén to maneuver through the defense. Albert Lövskog came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by INTER de Córdoba's Blas Guzman. But to his dismay, Blas Guzman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. 68 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's goal looked a bit too open when Cheng Qian Qiang came free, but Albert Lövskog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blas Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Albert Lövskog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Cheng Qian Qiang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albert Lövskog. Djurgården IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cheng Qian Qiang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. A collision led to INTER de Córdoba getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Genaro Tauro hit a great ball. Teo Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Albert Lövskog was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Djurgården IF's Albert Lövskog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Guzman in the 87th minute of play. Albert Lövskog didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cheng Qian Qiang went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 15-0 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute Blas Guzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Lövskog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Djurgården IF getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Gösta Pedersson hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. INTER de Córdoba had played much better football throughout.
