Benny Rüdiger kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Clóvis Salgado made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Zenon Modrzewski sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Nicholas Gödtel got a free kick in the 10th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Wieslaw Komanski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liwocz Brzyska's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wieslaw Komanski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Liwocz Brzyska's Wieslaw Komanski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clóvis Salgado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Liwocz Brzyska's Zygmunt Pietrowski got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Pombal 2003 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Yağız Davutoğlu. After some careless play in the Pombal 2003 F.C. defense, Jacek Mnich kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clóvis Salgado. The Pombal 2003 F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clóvis Salgado should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Zieba during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 30 minutes into the match, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalkeeper Clóvis Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wieslaw Komanski. The referee felt a red card was in order, 34 minutes into the game, when Betão Peixoto put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pombal 2003 F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! In the 36th minute there was a penalty for Liwocz Brzyska. Wieslaw Komanski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Clóvis Salgado. 3-0. Sebastian Zieba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tymoteusz Tyskie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pombal 2003 F.C.'s zone, Zenon Modrzewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clóvis Salgado came out of the goal and Zenon Modrzewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Zieba to make the kick off. If Zenon Modrzewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Pombal 2003 F.C. booed when Liwocz Brzyska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugon Tychy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Liwocz Brzyska's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yağız Davutoğlu was slow to take the kick. During this time Pombal 2003 F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. 67 minutes into the match, Wieslaw Komanski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clóvis Salgado. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wieslaw Komanski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Clóvis Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Mnich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes Liwocz Brzyska got a freekick which was hit by Zygmunt Pietrowski. Nicholas Gödtel kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Liwocz Brzyska walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
