When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vili Aćimović made a kick off. Zebastian Rydelius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Jákó Myroforidis made a huge save. 54 minutes into the match, GAIS's goal looked a bit too open when Burns Willding came free, but Wlodzimierz Cipinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Žarko Trobec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd match minute, GAIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Campoamor to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ciprian Paveliuc managed to get in a good position for a shot. NK AvtoBUM Kočevje's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciprian Paveliuc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wlodzimierz Cipinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 played minutes GAIS got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Campoamor.
