But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benoit Van Bettenrode couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benoit Van Bettenrode in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thijs Heitinga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benoit Van Bettenrode in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thijs Heitinga saved Larfinur AFC from getting behind. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Larfinur AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Radomil Barys was slow to take the kick. During this time FA Sandtown's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Sebastian Larsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Larfinur AFC's Thijs Heitinga did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Incendio in the 11th minute of play forced FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Radowit Trzaskoma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Incendio hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Thijs Heitinga made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Benoit Van Bettenrode sent off a good shot on target. In the 19thth minute of the game Benoit Van Bettenrode who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Larfinur AFC's Thijs Heitinga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Larfinur AFC's Thijs Heitinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benoit Van Bettenrode in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, FA Sandtown's Benoit Van Bettenrode nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thijs Heitinga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benoit Van Bettenrode in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thijs Heitinga saved Larfinur AFC from getting behind. Thijs Heitinga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benoit Van Bettenrode showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Larfinur AFC's goalkeeper Thijs Heitinga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Larfinur AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sebastian Larsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Benoit Van Bettenrode made the kick off in the second half. Benoit Van Bettenrode might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thijs Heitinga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benoit Van Bettenrode ran back to his position shaking his head. Larfinur AFC's Thijs Heitinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benoit Van Bettenrode in the 51st minute of play. If Benoit Van Bettenrode had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Larfinur AFC defense, Benoit Van Bettenrode kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thijs Heitinga. The Larfinur AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thijs Heitinga should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Benoit Van Bettenrode put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Thijs Heitinga. Thijs Heitinga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benoit Van Bettenrode, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Sebastian Larsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FA Sandtown made a substitution. Aleksander Kissel replaced Benoit Van Bettenrode. The supporters of Larfinur AFC booed when FA Sandtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Larfinur AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksander Kissel came free, but Thijs Heitinga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Aleksander Kissel put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Thijs Heitinga. 78 minutes into the game, Sebastian Larsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FA Sandtown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Larfinur AFC the free kick. After 79 played minutes FA Sandtown got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Larsson. Aleksander Kissel might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thijs Heitinga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 87 played minutes FA Sandtown got a freekick which was hit by Tonko Jelovica. 93 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's Aleksander Kissel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thijs Heitinga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute FA Sandtown were awarded a corner. Radomil Barys went to the cornerflag to take it. If Aleksander Kissel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thijs Heitinga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksander Kissel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FA Sandtown's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
