Tomáš Malý started the match with the kick off. Lars Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Janič, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. FC Melon's Ján Tuleja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atakan Pepe in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Söderberg in the 10th minute of play forced FC Melon's goalkeeper Ján Tuleja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Melon's Tomáš Malý was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lars Norberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lars Norberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matej Adamec's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Lars Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Janič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Marek Janič ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lars Norberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With a little luck, spikarna's Lars Norberg got control of the ball when Tomáš Malý tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ján Tuleja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atakan Pepe, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 21 minutes into the match, FC Melon's goal looked a bit too open when Atakan Pepe came free, but Ján Tuleja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Tomáš Semenník was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Melon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave spikarna the free kick. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for spikarna. Atakan Pepe stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ján Tuleja. 1-1. Ján Tuleja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoffer Hansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Erik Žitňár could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Lars Norberg however easily saved by the left post. Sven Nordkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ján Tuleja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Sven Nordkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Tuleja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christoffer Hansson kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Kaj Hård made the kick off in the second half. Richard Kremeň was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Melon! Atakan Pepe shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Lars Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matej Adamec in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Melon's Erik Žitňár got a free kick in the 69th minute. FC Melon made a substitution. Vladimír Madeja replaced Tomáš Semenník. In the 70th minute, Erik Žitňár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. spikarna's Lars Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matej Adamec in the 73rd minute of play. Ján Tuleja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklas Söderberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sven Nordkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 82 minutes, Matej Adamec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Melon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matej Adamec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matej Adamec scored 2-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lars Norberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of spikarna booed when FC Melon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matej Adamec didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the spikarna players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Melon.
