In the 13th minute, Robbrecht Colebinders left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Geetsvondel² fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 15th match minute, Geetsvondel² was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristen Van Den Eijnde to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Geetsvondel²'s goal looked a bit too open when Vergil Rupov came free, but Dominic Huyghens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Genk's goalkeeper Jannes Van Leempoel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Genk's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Sovera came free, but Jannes Van Leempoel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match, Rain De Hond tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dominic Huyghens saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Suat Kaya took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Dominic Huyghens to make any attempt to save it. Geetsvondel²'s Dominic Huyghens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vergil Rupov in the 35th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Geetsvondel²'s goal looked a bit too open when Vergil Rupov came free, but Dominic Huyghens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genk were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Geetsvondel²'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 邵泉林 took the corner. During this time Genk's players had a chance to rest. Jannes Van Leempoel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbrecht Colebinders in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Robbrecht Colebinders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Van Leempoel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vergil Rupov in the 82nd minute of play forced Geetsvondel²'s goalkeeper Dominic Huyghens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominic Huyghens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vergil Rupov, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th play minute Matias Oyen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jannes Van Leempoel. 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Geetsvondel² had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
