During this time Mercedes's players had a chance to rest. MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Abar in the 35th minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the MAFFIAN defense, Jan-Ivar Nordmo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aron Dahlbom. The MAFFIAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aron Dahlbom should have stopped the shot. Alf Säfström got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 95 minutes into the match, Jan-Ivar Nordmo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aron Dahlbom, 0-10. When the final whistle sounded Mercedes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MAFFIAN.
