After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Herminio Florinio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportivo Águila's supporters rose to their feet, but Herminio Florinio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fred Bonk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 柳岚鸿, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The supporters of 福建宁德活塞队 booed when Club Deportivo Águila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 潘镇潮 in the 19th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper Gustavo Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, 龙霆沙 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gustavo Guimarães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute, 龙霆沙 made a precise shot to the right of Gustavo Guimarães. Club Deportivo Águila's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 柳岚鸿 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goal looked a bit too open when 柳岚鸿 came free, but Gustavo Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If 潘镇潮 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

After having played for 96 minutes, Dário Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Águila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dário Diniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 苏克鸿 charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 苏克鸿 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
