When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Robustiano Peruanton sped through GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maciej Okraszewski. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rik Quexada during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Rik Quexada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Koen Rijmenams made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylwester Zima in the 21st minute of play. Cordario Pierredonda kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Sylwester Zima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylwester Zima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Stanislaw Glogowski got a free kick in the 29th minute. Koen Rijmenams made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylwester Zima in the 32nd minute of play. Koen Rijmenams took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylwester Zima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute of the match GIOVANNI DZIADZIA got a corner. Oylimpiamos Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wojciech Kaczynski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Maciej Okraszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selatse Cantillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The audience was convinced that Sylwester Zima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Koen Rijmenams was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Maciej Okraszewski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute, Selatse Cantillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oylimpiamos Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. 83 minutes into the game, Gregory Neila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Maciej Okraszewski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Selatse Cantillo in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maciej Okraszewski saved GIOVANNI DZIADZIA from getting behind. In the 96th match minute, Oylimpiamos Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selatse Cantillo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 97 minutes, Sylwester Zima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
